Cropped Kick-Flare..

Most of this year, I twiddled my thumbs over boredom with the current "style-state" of pants and jeans.. I mean the skinnies have become so passe and some of those harem pants are just visually ill-form-fitting ..ahem! or shall we just call it what it is?..unflattering!  Then in a style-seeking frenzy ...discovered this image at net-a-porter Mag.
Now, ..considering the influence of the re-emerged kick-flares from Rochas 2010 Fall line?
...the 'cropped kick-flare' pants/jeans were encountered!

......and of course respectively styled: ....Viola! ....aren't they just divine!

Dressed up, casual, leather or denim ....cropped kick-flares are destined to be a hit ...especially come Spring and Summer..

Except ..I'm not waiting till then.  :)

Resplendence of Rochas..

This monstrosity of a delish mule-slide ..I first sighted in Elle's August issue ...and like a sprinkled crumb-trail ..followed it to the Rochas 2010 Fall Collection.  Even more delightful was the discovery of a refreshing ..colorful ..60s/70s throwback ..and with what this shoes may be displaying ..whisper of whimsical?





An ardent fan of the thick heel? ..I love this heel!  Combined with mixture of satin..velvet..leather and brocade ..the rich ensemble of color and textures made for a truly yummy visual palette..

The icing of this collection-cake came in this gold/mocha/champagne toned satin heels ..all in line with my Chloe Amour of creams and beige of course..

..and in true trooper fashion form ...we went from metallic neutrals to that necessary punch of pizzaz.
I am so all over the injection of burgundy red.

Chloe Amour..

..has me deeply swooning over Chloe's 2011 Spring collection! It is the epitome of minimalistic delight. A visual palette of clean and concise excitement laced with whispers of feminine. The collection is such a sweet compositon ..it's become an inspiration for the rest of my Summer shopping. Need I say more with these cream and beige leather dresses punctuated with burgundy leather strapped sandals ...faint!



Softly popped with sea-foam green ..these sumptuous metallic tones in satin ..travel all the way north to the shoes ..sigh!



...there's also beige silk with black leather and the cream blouse paired with a floral in bronze satin skirt ..why? ..it practically compels one to break out an Aria ..simply LOVE the looks!

Quintessence of Taupe

...in my delicious Corey Lynn Caulter ..silk-chiffon with black sequins top, I recently got from Gilt. As of late ....I've been enamored with most things taupe..



....and what's more fascinating is pairing taupe with olive green ....so, I found and got this striking 'Big cab cocktail ring' at Grayce by Molly Sims ...it is big..bold and ridiculously beautiful!

Sassy Skips..

..in Chie Mihara's 'Kaida'. I just adore my pair of Kaidas ...which I even got for a steal at Bergdorfs. When I first came upon ruffle-adorned shoes, I barely gave them a second thought ....then in late Spring, acquired a pair of black patent 2inch slides decorated with fine ruffles ....and my affliction was born.



...what's even more delicious are its 3inch Louis meets Chie M cone heels.



The "sass" factor for these shoes really pop when I wear them as a 'whisper of vintage-inspired' against a solid or clean-lined ..even contempo outfit. I swear, the moment I put them on ...there's almost a sudden inclination to skip, jump and click my heels.

Scarf Seduction

I am smitten with my Rachel Roy python-print scarf in peacock blue. It's especially striking when I accessorize it against solid black or a predominantly dark colored outfit.



This scarf not only looks incredible ..but the soft and sensual feel of the bamboo fabric has seduced me right into getting another Rachel Roy scarf for Summer.



The Aztec printed scarf in white poly-chiffon is sheer, soft and adds a sophisticated punch to any outfit. I not only plan to adorn my summer dresses with it ..but ever dramatically sweep it around a straw hat ..and top it off with a pair of very dark cat's-eyes shades. Can we just say ..Romantic and Dramatic?

Summer..

has arrived! ..and there are two things I know that I've absolutely gone ape over? The first is 'Flash-Sales-Boutique' shopping online and the other is simply ..jewelry. I am dizzy from FSB site-hopping ..and all the incredible jewelry being featured is practically giving me visual-candy-whiplash!

It's stunning how telling ..what we choose to adorn ourselves with, is actually an intimate extension of who or what we maybe about ..or as I like to think: going through?
What does this say about the panorama of fashion ..sea of style ..that we are a daily witness to?
It's too complex a visual kaleidoscope to consider ...so, I think I'll just begin with my own take on things..
