Spring 2012 Sandals ♥

Well?! ..with all the talk of fashion - it's only fair there be an hommage to Spring/Summer Sandals of course -- so, as in the visual conundrum of fashion  - shoes, sandals and all its choices are equally, seemingly infinite. Here's a couple of sandals that caught my eye (the dramatic ones of course)... ;)

From Net-a-porter: ..this first pair 'Marlene' is by Jimmy Choo - made of suede & feather ..I really like the way the feathers are worked into this sandal..

Also from Net-a-porter, is a pair of mustard silk & suede mules, 'Audrey' by ACNE ..love the look of this pair :)

Etro Spring 2012 ♥

Now that the entire World Fashion spectrum is beginning to be featured online (I don't know about anyone else?? but in my opine - it's become a dizzying visual heap of a headache.. lol!) -- it's compelling how everything to do with it is evolving at frightening warp speed - actually that also goes for everything about the internet..

Anyhow -- if you were to even capture a snapshot of it all - instantly you become drunk and in the next nano-sec suffer the hangover in which you have to fiercely shake off its stupor -- yes, it's that fierce!

Long story, short and across sea of 'visual fashion conundrum' ..I liked a glimpse of Etro's Spring 2012 line -- here's some of my fave pieces..

Spring 2012 & Alexis Mabille Couture..

Oh My! ..it feels like an eternity, since I last posted - but such is the unfortunate nature of being arrested  by "busy". No-less, let me get straight to the gritty of welcoming in Spring 2012.
In the grand scheme of things and when Spring rolls around each year -- the first thing I think of (right after beautiful weather, flowers and allergies) is Fashion. ..aaah! Viva Fashion!
So, I thought the following images from 'Alexis Mabille Couture Spring 2012' would be a great way to kick-start things!

Summer Swing...

Before Summer began ...all was abuzz on the "color-blocking trend" ....except this picture really depicts how I thought the Summer 2011 "buzz" needed to swing..

....gotta love the head-ware for this collection!

I am aware these pics are from Christian Dior's 2011 Couture Fall line ...but really - just looking at them ..it's all such a concoction of happy and summery colors..

Summer Sandals

This summer and with the anticipation of "color" ...I opted to go for sandals that would go with everything. I managed to find two great pairs at YOOX..

Aaaaah Spring! ..there's nothing more delicious then the anticipation of a vibrant natural floral scene..

..as in floral scenes - round and about the neighborhood.

All is abound with the sights and sounds..

..of Spring!

Leonard Spring 2011..

When I first laid on eyes on pics of Leonard, Paris 2011 Spring line -- I was basically smitten!

Everything about its prints, patterns, play on pastels...

..punctuated with a string pattern of black ...made it all so exquisite.

....then there's this piece with mixed patterns in blues/white and nude.
